Amy Lane

Amy has been in interested in agile ever since her first introduction at Saks Fifth Avenue  👠. Fascinated by this more human and collaborative approach to delivering customer value, she quickly got to work supporting teams as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach.

Currently serving as the sole Agile Trainer for The Hartford Insurance Group, previously she led agile coaching efforts at Envestnet, a wealth technology company.  No stranger to the intensity of financial firms, Amy also worked in market data on Wall Street - including being on the front lines to recover business after the 9/11 disaster. 

Amy has worked with agile teams at lululemon, Blue Nile, Capital One and Nordstrom as a Scrum Master and Product Owner. Throughout it all – Amy seeks to empower and understand – customers, users, teammates, and leaders. With her enthusiasm, creativity and a deep growth mindset, Amy is constantly seeking to iterate, learn and improve.

A native of Arizona – Amy has lived all over the world including Mexico and Japan – and if asked, she would say she feels most like a native of New York City. These days she calls Seattle home - enjoying the Pacific coast views, coffee and cuisine. She is constantly balancing her love of culture and creativity in life and at work.
